Last night I attended Off-Broadway: A Night of Magic at Analog at the Hutton Hotel, and my soul left feeling renewed.

Hearing some of my favorite Broadway voices alongside incredible new Nashville voices sing Disney music reawakened the kid in me who believed wishes were powerful, dreams were possible, and magic was never far away. It was a beautiful reminder that no dream is too big. As Walt Disney said, “It all started with a mouse.”

Nashville may be home now, but last night I was living in New York City again—and the magic was undeniable.

Tonight was pure Christmas magic.

I had the absolute joy of attending a gather ‘round the piano holiday sing-along led by the incomparable Rachel Potter and Patrick Thomas, featuring some truly breathtaking Nashville voices.

Set in the newly renovated (and stunning) lobby of the Hutton Hotel, the night was intimate and joyful. There is something so special about watching incredible artists celebrate one another—cheering for each other’s talent and artistry.

And as if the night couldn’t get any better, we were treated to a surprise visit from Randy Brooks, the original lyricist of “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer,” who gave us a performance of his iconic Christmas classic.
